A Retro-Style Supernatural Graphic Adventure in Modern New Orleans
Set in 2008 New Orleans, REDM Chapters is a classic-style graphic adventure that puts you in the role of a vampire agent working for the mysterious REDM organisation. Investigate supernatural occurrences while managing your vampire nature using a traditional verb-based interface reminiscent of classic adventure games.
Note: this is not a "choose your destiny adventure" or a narrative novel.

• More than 35+ locations, many taken from the authentic New Orleans, puzzles, NPCS and a rich original story that will take you hours to complete. To give you an idea, completing the game using a walkthrough and taking the minimal steps takes more than 30 minutes.
• Episodic story: This package will contain the first two episodes, one available now, and the second in the summer of 25, which are included in the present price. The third will be released as a different single episode.
1. BASIC CONTROLS
"REDM: New Orleans" is played mainly through an option selection interface that allows you to interact with characters, objects and the environment.
The game has the following controls:
- Keyboard
- "Q, A, O, P" - move between menus, vertical/horizontal.
- 'Enter, M, Space': selection
- Kempston Joystick
As you progress in the game, you will collect clues, solve puzzles and make decisions. Pay close attention to your surroundings, as important objects and information may be hidden from plain sight.

• Go/Push (Ir/Forzar:Empujar)
• Search (Buscar)
• Hypno (Hipno)
• Examine (Examinar)
• Give (Dar)
• Take (Coger)
• Distract (Distraer)
• Inventory (Inventario)
• Use (Usar)
• Talk (Hablar)
• Open (Abrir)
2. GAMEPLAY MECHANICS
Basic Interaction:
1. Select a verb from the menu
2. Select an object, person, or location available

3. Watch the action unfold

Inventory:
• Select 'Inventory' to view and examine items
• Access the map
Status Display:
• Blood bags counter
• Hunger status
• Current location and context

3. VAMPIRE ABILITIES
• Hypnosis: Use on NPCS for light mind control
• Enhanced vision: Examine areas in detail
• Blood powers: Various supernatural abilities - beware, most abilities will increase your hunger.

4. PUZZLE SOLVING
• Try different verb combinations
• Check inventory frequently
• Talk to everyone
• Search every location
• Draw a map
• Monitor blood levels
• Remember to use vampire abilities
5. LOCATIONS
• French Quarter
• Club Silencio (fictional, the real one is in Paris)
• Various New Orleans landmarks
6. SAVE SYSTEM
The game doesn't have any system because of memory management issues, but you can use the snapshot feature of the emulators. If you lose control, because of hunger, you will get two continuations without losing all your progress.
7. Format
The version you have in your hands is exclusive to ZX Spectrum +3 in a disc format.
You can play it in many ways:
- The original machine. Note that the file provided is an image of the disk (".dsk"), intended for emulation, even if it is an actual machine, like the Next, the N-Go, etc If you want to run it on a 3-inch disk, you need to convert it. If you own an original ZX Spectrum +3, I recommend getting an internal or external GOTEK unit, though.
- On the Spectrum Next, N-GO, clones, and any hardware that runs the +3 core (does not work on “The Spectrum”, though)
- Emulators like Zesarux, Retro Virtual Machine, Fuse, Speccy, etc...
A good option is to emulate the game on your mobile phone, for instance, using the "Speccy" emulator. The on-screen interface is sufficient for playing the entire game, and you can get it up and running in under five minutes.
8. Engine
I've used a custom version of the C&D engine, modified by me, to fit the game's needs.

Este primer episodio utiliza una version modificada por mi de CyD para conseguir el resultado que yo queria. El motor original presenta ciertas caracteristicas que a mi no me servian. En cualquier caso, un gran trabajo de Sergio. Siguientes episodios si van usar un motor propio mas adaptado a lo que tengo en mente.

Hi, I’m contacting you because I want to make a homebrew tribute USB. I’m collecting as many content creators as possible. I also want to include a profile for each one, with a few details, such as their logo, avatar, name, work completed, projects, etc., so you can see who’s behind their creations.
That profile, along with any material you allow me to upload, will be placed on a USB drive. This will act as a database of creators and their creations, and will be updated as I connect with new people.
The USB I’m thinking of creating will be one of those rubber-type USBs, shaped like a Spectrum computer, something that looks really nice. The idea is that those who contribute material, and if they want to buy one or more, will get it at cost price, and those who just want to buy one, it will cost a little more.
The idea is that if enough are sold, enough to recover the initial investment, the profits that the rest of the USBs could generate will be distributed among the people who have contributed material to the project, via transfer, PayPal, or however possible, even if possible, that the USB will be free. Obviously, you can buy more than one, but only one of them can be free.
It’s not necessary or mandatory to buy the USB, only if you like it or want it.

Perdona, que te he preguntado y respondido en ingles, y creo que entiendes el español, jajajaa, bueno, pues eso, el proyecto esta en marcha y avanzando poco a poco, ahora que vienen vacaciones son mese de poca actividad, asi que aprovechare, para hacer las fichas de los creadores de contenidos e ir organizandolo todo, para ir avanzando cosas y despues del verano, ya sacar el proyecto en fisico, segimos en contacto, salu2.
Jajja claro, soy español. Hablamos, estoy acabando lo que falta, y viendo cuando saco la segunda parte. Siempre podemos incluir la primera, con una nota.
